The Boathouse is a family owned restaurant with a great reputation for the finest Scottish seafood on the West coast of Scotland, most of which is landed on our doorstep.

Our reputation has been built up over the last few years and we have gained recognition from the Michelin Guide five years running. we aim to build on that reputation. We have an outstanding menu and ‘Fresh Ins’ board to suit everyone, along with a lovely wine list to choose from. You won’t be disappointed.

We are situated on the shore of the stunning Ardminish Bay at the bottom of the Mull of Kintyre a popular stopping point for boats who are sailing up or down the Mull they can moor up on the newly refurbished moorings and jetty.

You can enjoy a table on the beach, on our heated decking area both with spectacular views of the Kintyre Sound, or for those colder nights come and relax inside our cosy 300 year old boathouse.
